Welcome to Tampa!!

Hi! Welcome to Tampa, or if you live here hello, I'm happy to have you! I know it sounds like I’m on a Tampa welcoming committee, but unfortunately, I’m not. 

I’m Jenna, I am one of the few that can say they are born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Growing up in Tampa has been the best, well I also don’t know any different, so we’ll go with the extreme...Tampa is the best place to grow up!

I have family who live up north and every winter, it never fails, I get to brag and say, “I live where you vacation.”

When I mention Florida to anyone, the common response I get is “You live in Orlando, like near Disney World?”, nope, not exactly.

Everyone LOVES Disney World and that is all they like to think about when it comes to Florida, but there is more! Tampa is one of the smaller market cities and is often combined with the St. Petersburg area.

Tampa is a young city that continues to grow. 

Living in Tampa I constantly heard the people around me say there isn’t “anything to do”, or “Tampa isn't city enough”.

Although I’ve been in Tampa my whole life it was until I got older when I realized Tampa has ALL the things to offer.

NEWSFLASH....we have a TopGolf there are only so many cities that can say that have that, and when you get a TopGolf you know your city’s made it!! ☺

For my blog, I will be talking about different things to do in the Tampa area, from the best restaurants to quirky coffee shops to a night out.

I’ll be talking about the little hole in the wall places that people don’t talk about much, those you cant find from a quick Google search.

And of course, I can’t (and won’t) forget the Instagram worthy places our city has to offer. 

Although Tampa is sometimes referred to as a smaller city my blog will help discover there is more to Tampa than just its size.
